Apple Working On Its Own Gaming Controller

Apple could be planning to launch its own game controller for iPhone and iPad. According to a new report by Patently Apple,  shows that the Apple company granted patents related to game controllers by the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and the European Patent Office in the past two weeks. The report shows that there are three styles of game controllers have been introduced.

In the first style, Apple has considered a controller which can be attached to the two sides of a device like iPhone or iPad, both in the portrait and the landscape mode. So, the controller can be detached into two parts which can then be attached to either side of the iPhone or iPad for the gaming sessions.

The second style of controller displayed, it will be purely for the iPhone. Its design is a foldable one, with the buttons inside. Also, the foldable case would feature a mini built-in display to perhaps accommodate a touch-based keypad or to display important information like the health of your character in the game, text message, email notifications and requests from other players in multiplayer etc.

Apple's third game controller style presented a more traditional style design. The game controller would work with Apple TV and offer a slidable switch control allowing the user to have it in game mode, in phone mode, in messaging mode. The slidable switch control would prove it's for an Apple game controller and not a feature to add to an Xbox controller.
